The governing body of the Commonwealth Powerlifting Federation.
CPF General Assembly
The highest authority in the Commonwealth Powerlifting Federation, comprising representatives from all member nations.
Composition and Authority
The General Assembly consists of official delegates from each CPF member nation. Each member nation has one vote, regardless of size, ensuring equal representation in CPF governance.
The Assembly has supreme authority over all CPF matters, including:
- Constitutional amendments and rule changes
- Election of Executive Committee members
- Admission of new member nations
- Approval of annual budgets and financial reports
- Setting competition calendars and hosting rights
- Policy decisions on development and anti-doping
Meeting Schedule
The General Assembly convenes annually, typically in conjunction with the CPF Championships. Special assemblies may be called by the Executive Committee or upon request of member nations.
Voting Procedures
Decisions require a simple majority unless specified otherwise in the Constitution. Constitutional changes require a two-thirds majority of voting members present.
